Testifying under oath in the Kavanaugh hearing, Christine Blasey Ford appeared to sincerely believe what she testified. This fully explains her passing a polygraph test – which has some potential to indicate, at most, only one’s concern for their integrity. Forensic scientists concede that the polygraph is not a lie nor truth “detector.” Ford seems to have been sincerely and honestly telling what she believed to be the truth.
Full disclosure: I’m an American vet (USAF Intelligence) whose family immigrated to New Amsterdam before New York, or the USA, even existed. I’m neither Republican nor Democrat. I’m an independent!
But look at how recent – and legitimate – neuroscientific research contradicts Ford’s jumbled and non sequitur “scientific” assertion designed to dazzle the bobbleheads: that “sort of, as you know” memories are chemically-encoded in neurotransmitters within the hippocampus so that, she concludes non sequitur, they’re “kind of locked there.”
MIT neuroscientist Prof. Susumu Tonegawa, the Picower Professor of Biology and Neuroscience and senior author of a paper describing the findings in the July 25 edition of Science contradicts Ford’s non sequitur conclusion (that these chemicals “kind of lock” in a trauma-related experience, implying absolute recording of reality)! To the contrary, Prof. Tonegawa has demonstrated how false memories can be planted in the hippocampus. Engrams, episodic memories of experiences, including traumatic experiences, are encoded, but not chemically or otherwise “locked in” the hippocampus or its neurons or neurotransmitters. (MIT neuroscientists show ability to plant false memories. https://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2013-07/miot-mns072413.php)
“Evidence from some wrongful-conviction cases suggests that suspects can be questioned in ways that lead them to falsely believe in and confess to committing crimes they didn’t actually commit. New research provides lab-based evidence for this phenomenon, showing that innocent adult participants can be convinced, over the course of a few hours, that they had perpetrated crimes as serious as assault with a weapon in their teenage years.” (People can be convinced they committed a crime that never happened. University of Bedfordshire in the UK, Psychological Science journal.)
Merely questioning a victim carelessly has been demonstrated to plant false memories. Think of how much more forcefully years of nescient therapy, repetitively reinforcing false memories over many of the intervening 36 years, would crystallize false memories in her hippocampus, raising those false memories to 100% belief! Belief, not actual memory. She seemed sincere because she likely fully – 100% – believed what she was saying. But all of the evidence proves that her testimony, though sincere, was wrong.
“Jennifer Thompson was raped at knife-point by a man who broke into her apartment while she slept. She was able to escape, and eventually positively identified Ronald Cotton as her attacker. Ronald insisted that she was mistaken– but Jennifer’s positive identification was the compelling evidence that put him behind bars. After eleven years, Ronald was allowed to take a DNA test that proved his innocence. He was released, after serving more than a decade in prison for a crime he never committed. Two years later, Jennifer and Ronald met face to face– and forged an unlikely friendship that changed both of their lives.” (“Picking Cotton”.
According to Kepa Paz-Alonso, at the Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language (BCBL), published in the Journal of International Neuropsychological Society and Schizophrenia Research scientific journals, however, “Justice blindly trusts human memory. Every year throughout the world hundreds of thousands of court cases are heard based solely on the testimony of somebody who swears that they are reproducing exactly an event that they witnessed in a more or less not too distant past. Nevertheless, various recent studies in cognitive neuroscience indicate both the strengths and weaknesses in this ability of recall of the human brain.” (‘False memories’ — the hidden side of our good memory. Kepa Paz-Alonso at the Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language (BCBL) in the Journal of International Neuropsychological Society and Schizophrenia Research scientific journals.)
Blaming the attack for her mental fragility, Ford attested that she was and remains mentally fragile, messed up, and exhibits obvious evidence of mental fragility, for at least a couple of years thereafter.
Research by psychological scientist Steven J. Frenda of the University of California, Irvine and colleagues, published in Psychological Science, a journal of the Association for Psychological Science, suggests that even sleep deprivation – how much more likely when she admits being messed up for years after her incident – may increase susceptibility to false memories. “Our findings have implications for the reliability of eyewitnesses who may have experienced long periods of restricted or deprived sleep.” ( Sleep deprivation may increase susceptibility to false memories)
Ford doesn’t remember getting to the fateful party, or getting home! Think about the implications of that. Her treating that lack of memory as unremarkable suggests a routine of pre-party drunken black-out, which further suggests a habitual party-girl lifestyle even at age 15, drinking and, in that time and place, smoking pot a virtual certainty. These things are suggested not by lawyers, nor Republicans, nor me; but by indications in her own testimony that everyone apparently feared to bring out in the face of the current “metoo” fanaticism. Well, I’m not afraid and Judge Kavanaugh was borked – and in the same way that I’ve been, and continue to this day to be, smeared and besmirched by Orthodox and Ultra-Orthodox Jews and rabbis, and many Christians as well, for decades.
A study conducted at Sant Pau and Bellvitge hospitals, published in the American journal Molecular Psychiatry and conducted with the use of neuroimaging techniques, demonstrates for the first time that cannabis consumers have a less active hippocampus, a key structure related to the storage of memories… Human Neuropsychopharmacology group at the Biomedical Research Institute of Hospital de Sant Pau and from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, in collaboration with the Brain Cognition and Plasticity group of the Bellvitge Institute for Biomedical Research (IDIBELL – University of Barcelona)… published in the journal Molecular Psychiatry.
“On occasions, the brain can remember things that never happened. Our memory consists of a malleable process which is created progressively and therefore is subject to distortions or even false memories. These memory “mistakes” are seen more frequently in several neurological and psychiatric disorders, but can also be observed in the healthy population, and become more common as we age. One of the most common false memories we have are of situations from our childhood which we believe to remember because the people around us have explained them to us over and over again.
“The results show that cannabis consumers are more vulnerable to suffering memory distortions, even weeks after not consuming the drug. This suggests that cannabis has a prolonged effect on the brain mechanisms which allow us to differentiate between real and imaginary events. These memory mistakes can cause problems in legal cases, for example, due to the effects the testimonies of witnesses and their victims can have. Nevertheless, from a clinical viewpoint, the results point to the fact that a chronic use of cannabis could worsen problems with age-related memory loss.
“The new study also reveals that the chronic use of cannabis causes distortions in memory, making it easier for imaginary or false memories to appear. On occasions, the brain can remember things that never happened. Our memory consists of a malleable process which is created progressively and therefore is subject to distortions or even false memories. … Cannabis consumers believed to have already seen the semantically related new words to a higher degree than participants in the control group. By using magnetic resonance imaging, researchers discovered that cannabis consumers showed a lower activation in areas of the brain related to memory procedures and to the general control of cognitive resources.” (Cannabis consumers show greater susceptibility to false memories )
Ford’s confused description of memory formation, particularly her non sequitur that such memories are chemically and unalterably encoded in the brain was food for the bobbleheads but not for serious scientists. Notice how not one of these serious neuroscientists suggest that these chemicals “sort of, as you know, encodes” a memory in the brain unalterably. Neuroscience is serious science, psychology is voodoo.
Contrast all of this with Judge Kavanaugh. None of these things are true of Judge Kavanaugh. There is no corroborating evidence of Ford’s beliefs – likely brewed in alcohol, smoke-cured in cannabis, then aged for 36 years in her hippocampus. Her own witnesses refute her assertions. By contrast, there is a wealth of testimony attesting to Judge Kavanaugh’s lifetime character.
The borking of Judge Kavanaugh and his family – as well as the betrayal and ritual sacrifice of Ford – is entirely the design and product of America’s Democratic political party. Pre-Hitler German socialism was never as bad, or dangerous, as this historical black day of American Democratic socialist Machiavellianism.
It is with the most excellent reason that Tanakh equates baseless-allegations to murder (Shemot 23.7 with wa-Yiqra 19.16; see Talmud elucidation). Anyone who watched Judge Kavanaugh today has seen the face of someone who has been constructively murdered – as I have been for decades. So I get it, because I and my wife, daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren and extended family are still being forced to live in that hell with no hope of legal remedy (the Israeli Ultra-Orthodox rabbinical “court” and Israeli “high appellate court” rabbis created and maintain false allegations, without ever even consulting me, while the civil court fears to override the religious court Ultra-Orthodox rabbis to bring justice to me and my family). Maybe Americans can release Judge Kavanaugh and his family from that hell.

This reputation-murder exemplifies the evil unleashed by Machiavellian peddling of uncorroborated, even 100% refuted, accusations by a victim who refused to report the incident, in a timely fashion, to the proper authorities. However difficult that may be, there is no exemption for difficulty in the requirements of justice. And, in this case, Ford’s refusal to report the incident immediately, when evidence could have been gathered and the facts authenticated, enabled by Machiavellian Democrats, is the heart of this reputation-murder of Judge Kavanaugh. Every decent American should take revenge in the mid-term elections! Every Senator and Representative, from whatever political party, who votes against Judge Kavanaugh takes his blood, and the blood of his family, on their hands. There is no tᵊshuv•âhꞋ for irreversible evil and harm.
